Job summary

BDO Belgium is seeking an Internal Audit Manager in Risk Advisory to help organizations navigate complex risk landscapes from our Zaventem office. You will lead risk-based internal audits, strengthen internal controls, and mentor a growing team of professionals.

You will collaborate with clients across Europe, drive innovative approaches, and contribute to business development while ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business administration, law, economics, management, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Internal Audit, Internal Control, External Audit or similar.
• Familiarity with IIA standards and COSO/ISO 31000; financial services experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and facilitation abilities to guide clients.
• Proven leadership, autonomy and ability to run workshops and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Execute and report on risk-based internal audits for clients.
• Support clients in optimizing internal control frameworks.
• Manage project scope and ensure quality across teams.
• Handle multiple projects with timely delivery and clear communication.
• Drive innovation in project execution and product development.
• Act as trusted advisor and relationship manager for clients.
• Contribute to business and product development insights.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
