Job summary

argenx is seeking a Scientist to join our dynamic R&D team in Gent/Zwijnaarde. The candidate should drive hands-on lab work and take scientific ownership of defined discovery projects, coordinating research activities with the project team.

Qualifications

• PhD in immunology with industrial/industry collaboration experience preferred.
• Experience with FcRn and FcγR biology; antibody engineering considered.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end scientific ownership of defined discovery projects with target immunobiology.
• Ensure data quality, interpret results, and communicate insights to teams.
• Coordinate internal/external activities to meet milestones and go/no-go decisions.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support team development.
