Job summary

argenx is hiring a Junior Scientist for its R&D team in Gent/Zwijnaarde, Belgium. The role focuses on discovery, characterization and optimization of novel therapeutic antibodies, with close collaboration to project teams to generate high-quality results in a growth-oriented environment.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, up to 2 years of hands-on lab experience, and are fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in a relevant field as specified in the job posting.
• Maximum 2 years of hands-on experience with key lab techniques, preferably in industry.
• Motivated, quality-conscious scientist with strong communication and teamwork skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document high-quality experiments with precision and complete records in ELN.
• Collaborate with project teams to interpret data and support reports.
• Proactively troubleshoot routine issues and contribute to protocol development.
• Present findings in internal meetings and propose next steps.
