Sioen Industries is a diversified group with activities in weaving, coating, non-wovens and technical textiles. The Dispatch Assistant role focuses on shipping administration in close collaboration with the warehouse.

You follow shipments end-to-end, act on delays, and ensure timely communication between Sales Back Office and the warehouse. We seek a bachelor degree or equivalent, at least 3 years in admin, SAP and/or WMS experience is a plus, and fluency in Dutch with French or vice versa, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an administrative role.
• Accurate, efficient, proactive follow-up and ownership of tasks.
• Smooth collaboration with the warehouse team and active maintaining of contacts for effective follow-up.
• Experience in logistics administration; SAP and/or a WMS is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Prepare shipping administration in collaboration with the warehouse, considering open departure schedules.
• Follow up on shipments internally from the warehouse to the gate to ensure on-time dispatch.
• Take proactive action in case of issues or delays and ensure prompt follow-up.
• Be a main point of contact between Sales Back Office and the warehouse to ensure smooth information flow.
• File and archive completed shipping documents correctly.
