Job summary

Nexans Network Solutions in Belgium is seeking a results-driven professional to manage testing processes and improve methods for new and existing products. You will define testing approaches, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the team.

You will train production and maintenance staff on new tools and testing visuals, while ensuring safety and quality standards. This role focuses on robust testing solutions and KPI-driven performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electricity or Electro-mechanics is required.
• English and Dutch languages required; French is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with KPI monitoring experience.
• Ability to design and implement visual management in Operations.
• Minimum 5 years in an operational environment.
• Experience in high voltage testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage processes/projects related to testing equipment, structures and methods.
• Organize startup and follow-up of new or modified tests for existing products; monitor KPIs.
• Lead continuous improvement projects in testing using PDCA and root cause analysis.
• Implement visual management in testing area (dashboards, status boards, 5S visuals).
• Define and monitor testing KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Provide training on improvements and explain KPIs to staff.
• Provide technical support to Tool Design, Process, Automation, Production.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and Group guidelines.
• Participate in improvement workshops and daily reviews.
