Job summary

Sibelco Nordic Ab is seeking a Payroll Specialist at the Dessel Plant to manage end-to-end monthly payroll and HR operations. The role focuses on Belgian payroll compliance, employee lifecycle administration, and close collaboration with HR teams and external payroll providers.

Required are 2–5 years’ payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and fluency in Dutch and English. This permanent role includes meals vouchers, insurance, extensive annual leave, and development opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Payroll, or Business Administration.
• 2–5 years of payroll and HR administration experience in a complex organization.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation and payroll processes.
• Experience with payroll/time management systems (Protime and Workday a strong asset).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process with internal stakeholders and external providers (blue/white-collar).
• Ensure accurate, compliant payroll administration per Belgian law and company policies.
• Handle employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding and HR documentation.
• Maintain HR records in Workday, Protime, and related systems.
• Serve as first point of contact for payroll, benefits, leave and HR inquiries.
