SCR-SIBELCO NV in Dessel, Belgium, is seeking a Payroll Specialist with broad HR operations responsibilities. The role involves end-to-end payroll processing, HR lifecycle administration, and data integrity across systems like Workday and Protime.

The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensure Belgian payroll compliance, and support recruitment and HR projects. A Bachelor's degree in HR and 2–5 years of payroll experience are required, with fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Payroll, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in payroll and HR administration within a complex organization.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation and payroll processes.
• Experience with payroll and time management systems (Protime and Workday is a strong asset).
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers (blue-collar and white-collar jobs).
• Ensure accurate and compliant payroll administration in line with Belgian legislation and company policies.
• Manage the employee lifecycle administration from onboarding to offboarding, including contracts, personnel file management and HR documentation.
• Maintain and update employee records within the HR information systems. (Workday, eblox,...)
• Administer time and attendance processes, including maintenance of the Protime system.
• Act as first point of contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits, leave administration and HR operational questions.
• Prepare payroll-related calculations such as holiday pay, severance calculations, salary simulations and other personnel cost calculations.
• Support audits and internal controls by ensuring complete and accurate HR documentation.
• Monitor data quality and ensure compliance with HR, payroll and GDPR requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the HR Representative Hard HR and HR Representative Soft HR (HRBP) to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
• Support recruitment administration and onboarding activities when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within payroll and HR processes.
• Serve as back-up and support for other HR operational activities within the HR department.
• Participate in HR projects related to digitalization, process optimization and employee experience improvements.
