Job summary

Hilton Brussels Grand Place is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee to learn hotel operations from day one. You will assist with opening and closing the department, manage inventories, respond to emails, and coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to keep rooms and public areas pristine.

Fluent in French; English is a strong asset. You’re studying Hospitality Management or a related field, have strong interpersonal skills, and wish to develop leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Open the Housekeeping department each morning by preparing and assigning daily tasks.

• Help manage housekeeping inventories, including supplies and amenities.
• Respond to department emails promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for smooth operations.
• Conduct room and public area inspections to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support department goals.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee, you'll be immersed in the operation from day one. Your Responsibilities

• Housekeeping Opening – Each morning, you will assist with opening the Housekeeping department by preparing and assigning daily tasks to team members, checking inventory levels, and ensuring everything is ready for a successful day.
• Housekeeping Closing – At the end of the day, you will support the closing of the department by ensuring all guest rooms have been cleaned according to Hilton standards, preparing end-of-day reports, and organizing the following day's operations.
• Inventory Management – You will help manage housekeeping inventories, including cleaning supplies and guest room amenities. This includes monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and coordinating deliveries.
• Email Management – You will manage the department's email correspondence by responding promptly and professionally to requests from hotel departments as well as guest inquiries.
• Cross-Department Coordination – Working closely with departments such as Front Office and Maintenance, you will help ensure smooth communication and efficient operations. You will serve as a key point of contact for housekeeping-related matters.
• Room and Public Area Inspections – You will regularly inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet Hilton's quality and cleanliness standards. Any issues identified will be reported and followed up promptly.
• Additional Responsibilities – Depending on operational needs and ongoing projects, you may be assigned other tasks that contribute to the success of the department.

Throughout your internship, you will be mentored by our experienced Housekeeping team, who will provide practical, hands‑on training. You will gain valuable knowledge of housekeeping operations, from cleaning techniques to luxury hospitality standards. What we're looking for

• Fluent in French. A good command of English is a strong advantage.
• Studying Hospitality Management or another relevant field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
• Eager to learn and develop leadership and team management skills.
• Available to start in 2026 or beginning 2027 for a three to six-month internship.
