Job summary

SIW Solutions is seeking a Safety Manager for high-voltage and infrastructure projects in the Roeselare region (West Flanders). This freelance, hands-on role focuses on safeguarding safety from kick-off to handover and ensuring compliance on site.

You will sign off permits, lead toolbox talks in live grid environments, and perform on-site inspections. Prior HV experience is preferred, but strong infrastructure or industrial site background is also valuable.

Qualifications

• Experience as a safety manager on HV or infrastructure sites.
• Strong knowledge of safety legislation and risk management.
• Hands-on, independent and communicative.

Responsibilities

• Sign off permits and manage safety documentation.
• Deliver toolbox talks with crews on live grid environments.
• Carry out site inspections and close action points.
• Ensure project compliance from kick-off to handover.
• Monitor adherence to safety procedures on the work floor.
