Hitachi Energy Belgium N.V. is seeking a highly motivated Site Manager to oversee all aspects of project execution on Belgian sites, ensuring safety, on‑time delivery within budget and high quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 5–7 years of leadership experience in power transmission or construction, with fluency in Dutch, French and English. Extensive travel in Belgium is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of site management or similar leadership role.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsabilités

• Lead, manage, and supervise all on‑site activities, including construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of Hitachi Energy products and solutions.
• Develop, implement, and enforce site‑specific safety plans and procedures in compliance with Hitachi Energy and local regulations.
• Plan, organize, and allocate resources including manpower, equipment, and materials to optimize project execution.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors to align with project specifications, schedules and safety requirements.
• Monitor progress against schedules and budgets and implement corrective actions.
• Act as primary on‑site client contact, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports, daily logs, and other required documentation.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and project lifecycle standards.
• Resolve technical and logistical challenges on‑site and escalate as needed.
• Conduct site inspections and audits for compliance with plans and safety regulations.
