Residence Inn Ghent is seeking a Hotel Receptionist to warmly welcome international guests, manage check-in/out, and uphold Marriott standards. You’ll be the friendly first and last contact, ensuring guest satisfaction with a solution-oriented mindset.

Fluent in Dutch and English, with 2 years in hospitality or a related role; knowledge of Opera/Protel/Mews is a plus. Flexible shifts including weekends; permanent contract and market-competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• A degree in hotel management or tourism preferred; 2+ years in reception or similar role.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional language skills a plus.
• Knowledge of hotel software such as Opera, Protel or Mews is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Welcomes guests and ensures smooth check-in/check-out per Marriott standards.
• Acts as first and last point of contact for guests, offering information and problem solving.
• Handles complaints professionally and informs Front Office Manager as needed.
• Contributes to optimizing room occupancy with a service-oriented approach.
• Promotes hotel facilities and upsells breakfast, restaurant & bar offerings.
