Residence Inn Ghent is seeking a Hotel Receptionist to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs and deliver Marriott service standards. You thrive in a dynamic, international environment and help guests feel at home with a friendly, solution-oriented mindset.

Fluent in Dutch and English, you’ll handle guest requests, upsell hotel facilities, and support a smooth Front Office operation while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Degree in hotel management, tourism, or related field.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional language a plus.
• Experience in reception or similar role preferred.

Responsabilités

• Warmly welcome guests and ensure smooth check-in/out per Marriott standards.
• Act as first and last point of contact, offering information, support and solutions.
• Handle complaints professionally and inform Front Office Manager as needed.
• Assist in optimizing room occupancy with a commercial, service-oriented approach.
• Promote hotel facilities (breakfast, restaurant & bar) and apply upselling techniques.
