Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent is seeking a hands-on Shift Leader to supervise Front Office and Breakfast/Bar operations, coaching the team and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. You will lead from the floor, inspiring colleagues and coordinating with departments to maintain smooth daily operations.

The role requires frontline hospitality experience, leadership skills, and fluency in Dutch and English. A permanent contract and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, preferably Front Office or Food & Beverage.
• Experience as Shift Leader, Supervisor or Senior Receptionist is an advantage.
• Enjoy coaching colleagues and taking initiative.
• Hands-on; able to support different departments when needed.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Front Office and assist with Breakfast and Bar operations during your shift.
• Coach and motivate the Front Office team, ensuring smooth daily operation.
• Welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs with warmth and professionalism.
• Deliver exceptional guest service throughout the guest journey and handle requests promptly.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless experiences.
• Support and coordinate breakfast operation to start guests’ day well.
