Job summary

Axis Group is seeking a proactive Business Insurance Account Manager-turned-Sales Manager to shape a newly created role and steer a growing team. You will lead by example, coach account managers, and drive commercial expansion across Flanders, notably Antwerp and Limburg, by generating leads and strengthening client relationships.

You will report to the Sales Director, with a focus on KPIs, CRM optimization, and cross-office collaboration to support sustained growth.

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, law or insurance-related field.
• Ambition to lead and coach a sales team.
• At least 5 years in a commercial B2B role.
• Completed training in insurance or PCP certifications.
• Fluent Dutch (written and spoken). French and English are valuable assets.

Responsibilities

• Shape and own the newly defined Sales Manager role based on your experiences and ambitions.
• Lead, coach and motivate a team of account managers; start small and scale with the organization.
• Drive commercial expansion across Flanders, especially Antwerp and Limburg, by generating leads and engaging with existing clients.
• Improve CRM, define KPIs, set sales priorities and develop initiatives to generate and follow up on leads.
