ISS STOXX invites applications for a Corporate Governance Research Trainee program starting February 2027. Trainees will join a dynamic regional market and be mentored by senior analysts to deliver data, research and vote recommendations to institutional clients during proxy voting season.

You will analyze governance structures of listed companies, gather publicly available data, and prepare reporting explaining the rationale behind recommendations, while developing expertise in governance and

Competenze

Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Romanian.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Law, or Political Science or in the process of obtaining such a degree.
Prior experience in a relevant area is advantageous.
Strong analytical ability and numeracy; good oral and written communication.
Organized, independent, and a team player.

Deliver data, research, and vote recommendations to institutional clients during proxy voting season.
Analyze governance structures and performance of publicly listed companies and provide investors with vote recommendations.
Gather publicly available data from listed companies and engage with them to obtain additional information.
Prepare reports detailing analyses and explaining why a particular vote recommendation was given.
