ISS STOXX in Brussels offers a paid 6‑month traineeship focused on client service and proxy voting. You will support the GPD team, manage ballots and votes, interact with issuers and banks, and help maintain accounts and client data while gaining industry exposure in corporate governance and investment stewardship.

The program provides formal training, mentorship, and opportunities to develop communication, organizational, and networking skills within an international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Corporate Law or Political Sciences or in the process of obtaining such a degree.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and partners.
• Excellent analytical and numeracy abilities.
• Organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide operational support to the GPD Client Service & Consultants team during proxy voting season.
• Handle ballot and vote management, account maintenance, and vote report production.
• Maintain regular contact with issuing companies, agent banks and clients via email and phone.
• Assist with setup/maintenance of accounts and user access to the voting platform.
• Help update procedures, databases and client profiles and contribute to team tasks.
