Fortrea is seeking a Vice President, Therapeutic Area Leader in oncology to provide global scientific, strategic, and operational leadership. You will shape the global medical strategy, drive governance, and ensure high‑quality delivery across clients, regions, and delivery models.

The role requires executive leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders to achieve growth within the oncology portfolio.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in Oncology/Hematology.
• Executive-level governance and leadership experience in medical/scientific services.
• Strong strategic thinking and decision‑making in complex environments.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead senior medical teams.

Responsabilités

• Define and lead global TA strategy in oncology aligned to enterprise goals.
• Translate TA science and market trends into scalable medical offerings and roadmaps.
• Provide TA insights to support investment priorities and operating model evolution.
• Engage with senior clients and governance forums to shape strategy and outcomes.
• Lead medical governance forums and oversee high‑risk TA activities.
• Act as escalation point for complex medical, scientific, ethical, and regulatory decisions.
• Ensure compliance with scientific quality, safety, and data integrity standards.
• Mentor senior TA medical leaders and develop leadership capabilities.
• Collaborate with regional heads to align execution with global TA strategy.
• Support enterprise talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
