AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Ocean Export Forwarder in Belgium to manage end-to-end outbound ocean shipments, from booking to final departure. You’ll coordinate with clients, carriers, and internal teams while ensuring compliance and on-time delivery.

You will handle export documentation, DG declarations, and customs handoffs, with a focus on accuracy and proactive communication to meet strict deadlines and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in freight forwarding with ocean export operations.
• Knowledge of export documentation, incoterms and trade compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple files accurately and quickly.

Responsabilités

• Register export orders and create shipment files in the TMS system.
• Coordinate container bookings with carriers or consolidators.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and agents to organize pick-up and delivery.
• Prepare and validate documentation including BLs, export instructions and DG declarations.
• Hand over files to customs and follow up on permits and inspections.
• Monitor departure schedules and keep customers informed.
• Enter costs and revenues; follow billing instructions.
• Resolve issues and escalate bottlenecks to the Ocean Export Manager.
• Coordinate warehouse administration and ensure accurate inventory records.
