Flexport is seeking an Operations Associate in Belgium to coordinate end-to-end freight movements within a regional network, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-aware operations. You will work with carriers, vendors, customs and internal teams to optimize performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or forwarding agent training.
• 2+ years in operations, logistics or freight forwarding.
• Tech-first mindset; thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective time management; prioritize many tasks.
• Able to seek and receive feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Teamwork and relationship-building.
• Compliance-first attitude in a regulated industry.

Responsabilités

• Serve as frontline contact to ensure on-time shipments and proactive handling of exceptions.
• Meet internal KPIs and SLAs; independently manage priorities.
• Follow SOPs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Resolve client issues quickly; coordinate origin and destination operations.
• Promote cost-conscious behavior and prevent leakages.
• Coordinate daily operations with carriers, vendors, customs and stakeholders.
• Handle end-to-end freight movement within regional network (imports/exports).
• Support partner-managed shipments to enable parity with insourced operations.
• Leverage data/tools to drive efficiency improvements.
