Job summary

OVRSEA is launching its first Operations Manager for Belgium to lead the setup of initial operations, onboard local partners, and build strong on-site operational expertise. You will coordinate with service providers and customers to ensure timely updates and issue resolution, while shaping the market entry strategy and national partnerships.

The role focuses on coordinating air, sea, and rail transport, pricing, invoicing, and strategic development to deliver exceptional customer experiences

Qualifications

Fluent Dutch language skills are required.
Excellent interpersonal communication for client interactions.
Ability to manage stress and multi-task under deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and rigor in account monitoring.
Demonstrates initiative and proactive problem solving.
Motivation to learn global transport and freight modalities.

Responsibilities

Carry out transportation operations for import/export across air, sea, road and rail.
Plan and price international transport, improving upstream processes for smoother operations and invoicing.
Manage invoicing and liaise with customers to explain quotation vs. billing differences.
Develop Belgium market capabilities: build partnerships, conduct market research, and define operational strategy.
