Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Beerse (Belgium) seeks a Lead Engineer for LIMS within Innovative Medicine to define strategies, roadmaps and oversee IM LabVantage LIMS delivery globally. You will partner with global product owners and stakeholders to build world-class quality systems, aligning business needs with technology solutions.

You will lead a skilled squad, shape the product vision, manage OKRs, and drive continuous improvement across multiple modules while ensuring compliance with GxP and SDLC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Life Sciences, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in leading LIMS projects within Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and roadmap for IM LIMS product.
• Partner with global Technical Product Owner, Business Product Owner and stakeholders.
• Establish technology roadmaps to deliver business value for IM LIMS.
• Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing features.
• Define the product/ platform vision and OKRs for IM LV LIMS.
• Shape squad vision and drive delivery of features with business impact.
• Plan resourcing, interview and onboard squad members to join the team.
• Drive reporting and analytics to monitor sprint metrics and results.
• Collaborate to ensure alignment on roadmaps, designs, and timelines.
• Interact with other squads to implement cross-squad tasks and promote improvement.
• Facilitate Change Control and Risk Management processes.
