Job summary

Sibelco Nordic Ab is seeking a Manager Sustainability in Belgium to join the Centre of Excellence and drive global ESG strategies, regulatory compliance, and reporting. You will collaborate with sustainability teams across functions, engage external stakeholders and shape practical sustainability solutions for operations worldwide.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in sustainability, environmental sciences, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant sustainability, ESG, regulatory compliance, or reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of European sustainability regulation (CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy, PPWR) and reporting.
• Ability to translate complex legal requirements into pragmatic business processes and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory intelligence and impact assessment: Track and interpret emerging ESG regulations, identify impacts, risks and opportunities.
• Sustainability compliance: Drive compliance with CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy, PPWR and other ESG requirements; develop policies, processes and training.
• ESG disclosure and reporting: Contribute to high-quality ESG disclosures and sustainability reporting; monitor data quality and improve processes.
• Funding, grants and subsidies: Identify and support funding opportunities; coordinate with experts and partners to assess eligibility and monitor obligations.
• Customer and supplier engagement: Engage with customers and suppliers to advance sustainability objectives and ensure consistent handling of ESG requests.
• External representation: Represent Sibelco in industry groups to stay informed and bring insights back to the organization.
