Sibelco in Dessel Plant is seeking a proactive sustainability professional to support the Centre of Excellence in developing and implementing global ESG strategies, programs and standards. You will combine regulatory knowledge with reporting capabilities to deliver practical solutions across global operations.

The role emphasizes governance, data quality, stakeholder engagement and external representation with a strong focus on CSRD, EU Taxonomy, PPWR and related requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in sustainability, environmental sciences, law or related discipline.
• At least 5 years in sustainability, ESG, regulatory compliance, reporting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of European sustainability regulation and reporting requirements (CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy, PPWR).
• Ability to analyze complex legal and technical requirements and translate them into pragmatic business processes and concise guidance.
• Experience contributing to ESG disclosures, sustainability reporting, data governance or assurance-ready reporting processes.
• Experience in funding, grant or subsidy screening and applications is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Regulatory intelligence and impact assessment for sustainability programs.
• Drive compliance with CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy, PPWR and other ESG requirements; develop policies, processes and training.
• Contribute to high-quality ESG disclosures and sustainability reporting; monitor data quality and reporting processes.
• Identify, evaluate and support applications for funding, grants and subsidies; coordinate with internal and external experts.
• Engage with customers and suppliers to advance sustainability objectives and strengthen value-chain collaboration.
• Represent Sibelco in industry groups and forums to stay informed on sustainability developments.
