Job summary

Materialise, headquartered in Leuven, Belgium, seeks a Legal Counsel to join the legal team. You will lead corporate matters, oversee reporting activities (20-F, EU annual, SEC/MAR), and strengthen the compliance framework across the Materialise group.

You will also partner as a Legal Business Partner across Software, Manufacturing and Medical units, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and advising on risk vs. opportunity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law from a reputable university.
• Knowledge of both civil and common law, with US/UK exposure a plus.
• At least 5 years of post‑qualification experience, in‑house or at an international law firm.
• Knowledge of corporate and securities law in Belgian, US and international contexts.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate matters for Materialise in a dual-listed context (SOX, reporting, compliance).
• Oversee corporate compliance framework, including internal controls.
• Draft, advise on, negotiate, and close commercial transactions with stakeholders and customers.
• Support cross‑border corporate and M&A activities across the group.
