Materialise is seeking a Legal Counsel to join the Leuven headquarters and act as the go-to for corporate matters and reporting. You will oversee the global corporate compliance framework, including SOX and internal controls, and play a key role in supporting cross-border M&A activities and commercial transactions.

The role requires a strong generalist profile with deep knowledge of corporate and securities law across Belgian, US, and international contexts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law from a reputable university.
• Experience in corporate and securities law in Belgian, U.S., and international context.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience, either in-house or at an international law firm.

Responsabilités

• Serve as go-to person for corporate matters and reporting.
• Oversee corporate compliance framework including SOX and internal controls.
• Support larger corporate and M&A activities as they arise.
• Draft, advise on, negotiate, and close commercial transactions with stakeholders and customers.
