Job summary

Aerospacelab in Belgium seeks an experienced Corporate / M&A Legal Counsel to lead transactional matters including acquisitions, fundraising, intra-group restructurings, and governance across jurisdictions. You will serve as an in-house generalist for the group.

Requirements include a Master’s in law and 5+ years in corporate law/M&A, international experience, and fluent French and English; aerospace/dual-use sector exposure is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in law; LL.M. is an asset.
• At least 5 years in corporate law and M&A.
• International cross-border transaction experience.
• Experience in aerospace/dual-use sectors valued.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in French and English; other languages a plus.
• IBJ-IJE membership or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute M&A and external growth transactions.
• Support financing, cap table management, incentive plans.
• Oversee governance of group entities and filings.
• Manage regulatory aspects: FDI, export control, compliance.
• Handle day-to-day contracts, IP, regulatory questions.
• Advise on cross-border projects and post‑acquisition integration.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Finance, HR, and Legal teams.
