Fluxys is seeking a GIS Data Operator to ensure up-to-date GIS data for its gas transmission network. You will validate field data, maintain as-built information, and support digital applications within the DAM team.
You will collaborate with Asset Data Experts to improve IT solutions and processes, and you will communicate effectively across Fluxys branches in a data-centric, quality-focused environment.

The Data Administration & Management (DAM) team collects and processes all as-built information, both geographic and alphanumeric, from Fluxys' multi-molecule transmission pipeline network. DAM is systematically involved in matters relating to data modifications or the provision of data included in our pipeline plans and network diagrams. Fluxys' GIS application, which is managed by DAM, plays a key role in the performance of these tasks. Compliance with the principles of quality assurance and customer satisfaction is at the heart of our actions.
The Engineering Department's DAM team is looking for a GIS Data Operator (m/f/x).
Ensure that reliable and up-to-date GIS data is available to internal teams by keeping as-built information up to date, validating field data and producing cartographic materials. Act as the point of contact for data maintenance requirements and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of applications, processes and knowledge transfer within the team.
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in geomatics, geography, geology or the equivalent
You ideally have initial experience in a similar role
You possess sound knowledge of field measurement techniques (a major asset)
Experience with GIS, relational databases and Hexagon Networks would be a plus
You are known for your keen eye for detail, analytical mindset and ability to see the big picture
You work well both independently and, in a team,
You are curious, proactive and always keen to learn and take the initiative
You are client-focused and have strong communication skills
You are fluent in French and/or Dutch, with an excellent command of the other language and of English
