Fluxys is seeking a GIS Data Operator to ensure up-to-date GIS data for its gas transmission network. You will validate field data, maintain as-built information, and support digital applications within the DAM team.

You will collaborate with Asset Data Experts to improve IT solutions and processes, and you will communicate effectively across Fluxys branches in a data-centric, quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in geomatics, geography, geology or the equivalent.
• Initial experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of field measurement techniques is an asset.
• Experience with GIS, relational databases and Hexagon Networks is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Update data essential to the smooth operation of Fluxys' network.
• Update as-built data of pipelines for new construction projects and modifications.
• Update data relating to topography, ground level and assets.
• Verify the xyz position of pipelines and prepare files for field measurements.
• Draw diagrams, layout plans, 1:10 000 maps and detailed plans.
• Monitor projects within the Data Management team.
• Serve as contact person for Fluxys branches updating as-built data.
• Contribute to knowledge transfer and maintain training materials.
