CellCarta's Genomics Services is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to perform molecular analyses and contribute to NGS workflows within our Genomics Unit. You will extract DNA/RNA and run analyses on multiple platforms, ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting.

The role requires a professional bachelor's degree and at least five years in a molecular lab, with fluency in Dutch and English and a collaborative, quality-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Biomedical Laboratory Technology, or Biochemistry.
• Minimum 5 years in a molecular laboratory.
• NGS experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and database; willing to learn.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Experience with ISO 15189:2012 quality system.

Responsabilités

• Perform specialized molecular analyses of varying complexity on different platforms.
• Control the operation of analysis equipment and report malfunctions.
• Monitor lab processes and record data in the LIMS.
• Prepare analyses, equipment, and samples according to testing requirements.
• Document the laboratory work performed.
• Assist with data interpretation.
• Write operating procedures.
