CellCarta Belgium is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to join our Genomics Unit. You will perform molecular testing, DNA/RNA extraction, and analyses using cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced lab environment.

This entry-level role offers hands-on training, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and opportunities to grow expertise in clinical genomics and research. Full-time, onsite in Antwerpen with a Monday-Saturday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level training in molecular biology or related lab discipline.
• Experience or willingness to learn DNA/RNA extraction and molecular analyses.
• Ability to operate basic IT tools (Word/Excel) and LIMS familiarity is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform specialized molecular analyses of varying complexity on different platforms
• Control the operation of analysis equipment and report malfunctions
• Monitor lab processes and record data in the LIMS
• Prepare analyses, equipment, and samples according to testing requirements
• Document the laboratory work performed
• Assist with data interpretation
