Job summary

Verrus in Belgium is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to join the commercial team and work closely with the Sales Director to develop new opportunities, engage prospective customers, and support growth across Europe and beyond.

You’ll identify and qualify prospects in pharma, biotech, academia, and research institutions, conduct outbound prospecting, manage inbound leads, build relationships with researchers, and help close new business while maintaining CRM records.

Qualifications

• Background in genomics, NGS, sequencing or related fields.
• Experience in sales, business development, or inside sales within genomics or life sciences is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new prospects within pharma, biotech, academia and research institutions.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and engage potential customers.
• Manage inbound leads and develop them through the sales funnel.
• Build relationships with researchers, scientists and lab leaders.
• Support product demonstrations, presentations and customer discussions.
• Progress opportunities with the Sales Director to close new business and maintain CRM records.
• Contribute to account development and broader commercial initiatives as the company scales.
