Job summary

AbbVie Belgium is seeking a passionate Medical Scientific Liaison to join its Gastroenterology Medical Affairs team.

You will serve as scientific expert to gastroenterologists and healthcare professionals in Northern Belgium, build collaborations, and communicate non-promotional data to advance patient care.

The role offers high visibility, opportunities for clinical research involvement, and engagement across cross-functional teams while maintaining the highest standards of compliance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, or equivalent.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret clinical data.
• Experience or knowledge in Gastroenterology, Immunology, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic scientific partnerships with KOLs and investigators.
• Deliver high-quality scientific exchange on AbbVie's products and data.
• Identify and communicate actionable medical insights and trends.
• Support local medical projects and non-interventional studies including registries.
• Coordinate interactions between external experts and Medical Affairs.
• Provide scientific support for investigator-initiated research and publications.
• Contribute to study feasibility and patient recruitment with Clinical Development.
