Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in Belgium is seeking a Pipeline Medical Science Liaison to join the Medical Affairs team.

The MSL will act as a field-based scientific expert, enabling scientific exchange and supporting clinical research activities to advance AbbVie's therapies in Oncology and Hematology. The role requires engagement with investigators, healthcare professionals, and experts, and travel within Belgium is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree preferred.
• Experience in Medical Affairs, clinical research or related pharma field.
• Understanding of oncology/hematology is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific relationships with investigators and key external experts.
• Support Phase I-III clinical trials with Medical Affairs teams.
• Facilitate scientific discussions in a compliant, non-promotional manner.
• Respond to medical inquiries and provide technical support to investigators.
• Support IIS concepts and interactions with medical teams.
• Deliver scientific presentations on disease areas and pipeline assets.
• Identify opportunities for collaborations and advisory boards.
• Share actionable medical insights from the field.
