Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is seeking a freelance Software Tester for an Investments squad in Brussels. The role focuses on web and mobile testing within an agile environment. Start date is 1–2 weeks from now, long-term extension possible, location Brussels with 50% onsite policy and 40 hours per week.

Fluency in English is required; French/Dutch is a bonus. Interview process involves two stages. The tester will write and execute test cases, raise defects, and collaborate with BA, DEV, and UX/UI teams

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in software (and automation) testing.
• Experience with Tosca is a bonus.
• Experience with Jira/Xray or similar test management tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and data validation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Banking or investment domain knowledge is a huge advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements (US).
• Write/design detailed test cases and scenarios, execute them, open defects and communicate with BA and DEV based on acceptance criteria.
• Cooperate with IT developers, Operations teams, UX/UI team and other stakeholders.
• Stay in touch with prospect and customer needs.
• Follow up on IT development.
• Perform tests and validate test cases.
• Report and document bugs.
• Maintain view on backlog and prioritization.
• Contribute to Scrum ceremonies and daily/weekly meetings.
• Collaborate with testers from other teams to improve ways of working.
