Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is seeking a freelance Software Tester for an Investments squad in Brussels. The role focuses on web and mobile testing within an agile environment. Start date is 1–2 weeks from now, long-term extension possible, location Brussels with 50% onsite policy and 40 hours per week.

Fluency in English is required; French/Dutch is a bonus. Interview process involves two stages. The tester will write and execute test cases, raise defects, and collaborate with BA, DEV, and UX/UI teams

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in software (and automation) testing.
Experience with Tosca is a bonus.
Experience with Jira/Xray or similar test management tools.
Knowledge of SQL and data validation.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Banking or investment domain knowledge is a huge advantage.

Responsibilities

Understand requirements (US).
Write/design detailed test cases and scenarios, execute them, open defects and communicate with BA and DEV based on acceptance criteria.
Cooperate with IT developers, Operations teams, UX/UI team and other stakeholders.
Stay in touch with prospect and customer needs.
Follow up on IT development.
Perform tests and validate test cases.
Report and document bugs.
Maintain view on backlog and prioritization.
Contribute to Scrum ceremonies and daily/weekly meetings.
Collaborate with testers from other teams to improve ways of working.

For a banking customer in Brussels, I am searching for a freelance Tester to work in an agile Investments squad focusing on web and mobile testing.

Responsibilities

Understanding of the requirements (US)
Write/design detailed test cases and scenarios, execute them, open defects and communicate with BA and DEV in order to get a clear solution to them as per the acceptance criteria
Cooperate with I.T. developers, Operations teams, UX/UI team and with other stakeholders.
Stay in touch with prospect and customer needs

Have a view on the backlog & prioritization
