Vivid Resourcing seeks a Procurement & Project Support Consultant to join a leading European energy and infrastructure organisation. You will provide operational support to purchasing and drive improvements in a complex, international environment.

Based in Belgium with a hybrid model, you will coordinate SAP MM and SAP Ariba, support PO and contract creation, and assist project managers with day-to-day coordination and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Good practical knowledge of SAP MM.
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba is an advantage.
• Previous experience within procurement/purchasing processes is essential.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
• Autonomous, willing to learn.
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and translate them into actionable business cases.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business or administrative discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative and operational support within the purchasing department.
• Ensure close follow-up of the purchasing process and creation of purchase orders within agreed deadlines.
• Support internal stakeholders and suppliers with purchase orders through SAP and SAP Ariba.
• Create, modify and adapt purchase orders in SAP across different purchasing groups.
• Create and follow up on contracts within SAP.
• Monitor and manage functional mailboxes.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and work closely with process improvement teams.
• Support the Project Manager with the day-to-day coordination and follow-up of project activities.
• Monitor project progress, track action points and ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare and deliver project demonstrations to stakeholders and end users.
• Develop, maintain and support training materials and user documentation.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to ensure smooth project execution and alignment.
• Act as a point of contact for users and stakeholders, providing guidance and answering project-related questions.
• Prepare and distribute project communications, including updates, announcements, reminders and follow-up communications.
