Job summary

COS is seeking a Floor Manager in Gent to drive exceptional customer experiences and lead a dedicated team on the shop floor. You will steer sales, service, styling guidance, and store presentation to reflect the COS brand ethos and luxury craftsmanship.

You will oversee daily operations, recruit and train staff, and step into Store Manager duties when needed, ensuring consistent leadership and performance. English fluency is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of store operations and standards from retail experience, preferably fashion.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to lead by example.
• Genuine product interest and enthusiasm to share with customers.
• Openness to feedback and personal/professional growth.
• Excellent, clear, empathetic communication for customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high level customer service with expert styling advice and product knowledge.
• Analyze sales data and collaborate with Store/Concession Manager to maximise performance.
• Lead and motivate Sales Advisors to achieve service and presentation standards.
• Support recruitment and ensure onboarding/training for new team members.
• Identify future talent and contribute to development plans for progression.
• Oversee daily store operations ensuring efficiency and brand standards.
• Act as a brand ambassador delivering the best possible customer experience.
• Step into Store Manager role when required, ensuring leadership continuity.
