Job summary

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Financial Controller to join the Marketing & Communications department in a client-facing consultancy role. You will operate on-site at the client, supporting the MarCom budget and providing expert financial oversight within our consultancy framework.

Required qualifications include a Finance/Business/Economics degree and a minimum of two years in performance management. Fluent Dutch or French, with knowledge of the other, plus English, are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in performance management.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP and SharePoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support operational management of the MarCom budget through requests and approvals.
• Perform quality controls on budget requests, POs, and related data.
• Assist budget owners with Purchase Orders using internal tools.
• Monitor budget consumption for efficient use of funds.
• Contribute to year-end activities including forecasting updates.
• Respond to budget-related questions from stakeholders.
• Improve budget reporting and assist automated reporting development.
• Identify data inconsistencies and propose improvements.

Mission Overview:

The consultancy mission is for a Financial Controller to join the client’s Marketing & Communications department, representing Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will work on-site at the client, delivering expertise and value through our consultancy model.

Responsibilities:

• Support the operational management of the MarCom budget, including follow-up of budget requests and timely processing throughout approval and purchasing processes.
• Perform quality controls on budget requests, Purchase Orders, and related financial data.
• Assist budget owners and colleagues in the creation and follow-up of Purchase Orders using internal budget tools.
• Monitor budget consumption to ensure accurate and efficient use of available budgets.
• Contribute to year-end activities, including budget follow-up, forecasting updates, and consumption monitoring.
• Respond to operational budget-related questions from internal stakeholders.
• Improve budget reporting and contribute to the development of automated financial reporting solutions.
• Identify data inconsistencies and propose practical improvements to increase efficiency and reporting quality.

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in Dutch with good knowledge of French, or fluent in French with good knowledge of Dutch.
• Good knowledge of English.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience.

Technical Experience:

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in performance management.
• Highly skilled in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Relevant experience in financial management, accounting, and budget monitoring.
• Knowledge of SAP and SharePoint is a plus.

Business Experience:

• Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
