Job summary

BDO Belgium is seeking a Manager Finance Transformation to lead change and deliver results for clients in the financial services sector. You will guide transformative initiatives, partner with stakeholders, and shape finance strategies that address IFRS, sustainability, and regulatory needs.

You will manage projects, develop new business, and mentor junior staff while collaborating across BDO's practice network to maximize client value and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in finance transformation consulting.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Native level in Dutch or French and very good knowledge of the other language, complemented with profound English skills.
• Expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and management reporting with regulatory knowledge.
• Strong leadership with ability to develop junior profiles and talent.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand objectives, pains, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and expand relationships.
• Design and implement finance transformation initiatives aligned with priorities and regulation (IFRS, CSRD).
• Assess, diagnose, and recommend improvements to finance processes, systems, data, and organization.
• Support ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and enhance data analytics.
• Develop thought leadership, methodologies, and tools to differentiate the practice.
• Build relationships with external partners and leverage the network.
• Collaborate with colleagues from other practices to create real client impact.
