Job summary

BDO Belgium is seeking a Manager Finance Transformation to lead transformative finance projects for diverse clients. You will partner with stakeholders to define objectives, design strategies, and deliver pragmatic, compliant solutions in IFRS and Sustainable Finance contexts.

You will guide ERP initiatives (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and analytics improvements while mentoring junior staff. The role emphasizes collaboration, thought leadership, and expanding client relationships across industries.

Qualifications

5–8 years of experience in finance transformation consulting, preferably in financial services.
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Native level in Dutch or French and very good knowledge of the other language, plus proficient English.
Demonstrated expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and management reporting with regulatory knowledge.
Strong leadership with experience mentoring junior profiles and developing talent.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence clients and stakeholders.
Proven track record in business development, including lead generation and proposal development.
ERP implementation experience with SAP, Oracle, or Workday; travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand objectives, pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and execute development strategies to acquire new clients and deepen relationships.
Design and implement finance transformation initiatives aligned with client priorities and regulatory requirements (IFRS, EU Taxonomy, CSRD).
Assess, diagnose, and recommend improvements to finance processes, systems, data and organization.
Support ERP implementations to streamline finance operations and analytics (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
Produce thought leadership content, methodologies and tools to differentiate the practice.
Build relationships with external partners and leverage the BDO network to stay ahead of trends.
Collaborate with colleagues across Business Practices to maximize client impact.
