Job summary

Waters is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support BD Diagnostics instruments across the Wallonia region in Belgium. You will provide on-site technical service, remote diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with SLAs.

This field-based role requires strong communication skills in English and French, a full driving license, and willingness to participate in weekend duties. You will collaborate with the Belgium office and Benelux team as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in technical service or customer support
• Experience servicing medical devices or laboratory instruments is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• On-site support and installations of Waters ADx instruments per SLA
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting with minimal on-site visits
• Field corrective actions, upgrades and preventive maintenance
• Administrative reporting and service documentation in CMMS
• Maintain car stock and tools per European guidelines
• Ensure quality compliance with ISO/GMP standards
• Explain service contracts to customers and capture contract details
• Pre-installation checks at customer sites and coordination with tech support
