Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Waters ADx instruments across Belgium, primarily in the Wallonia region, with occasional travel to the BD Belgium office. You will handle on-site installations, remote diagnostics, and preventive maintenance while maintaining detailed service records and ensuring quality compliance.

The role requires an engineering background (MBO-4/HBO or equivalent), strong communication skills in English and French, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• MBO-4 or HBO in Engineering or related technical discipline is required.
• Proven track record in technical service or customer support.
• Experience servicing instruments in medical or research environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for Waters ADx instruments and systems within the assigned territory.
• Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshoot issues when possible.
• Execute field corrective actions and preventive maintenance per regulatory procedures.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation in service management systems.
• Manage personal car stock and logistics for timely service delivery.
• Ensure quality compliance with ISO, GMP, and safety regulations.
