About the Role

As a Facilities Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings, infrastructure, and facility services. Working in a highly regulated GMP environment, you will coordinate maintenance activities, manage contractors, oversee facility services, and contribute to a safe and efficient workplace for all employees.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on professional who enjoys balancing operational coordination, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

Facility Operations & Coordination

• Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, parking areas, cafeteria, and green spaces.
• Ensure the daily follow‑up of site security and facility‑related services.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and support corrective interventions when needed.
• Manage external contractors and technicians.
• Ensure timely procurement of required materials and services.
• Maintain accurate documentation, work permits, and records in SAP.

Maintenance & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan maintenance and repair activities.
• Analyze maintenance performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support facility technicians with complex maintenance activities.
• Monitor facility installations and ensure optimal performance.

Site Services & Administration

• Act as point of contact for tenants regarding technical issues.
• Manage office supply inventories and key management.
• Follow up service contracts and supplier relationships for cleaning, reception, waste management, cafeteria services and other facility‑related activities.
• Conduct regular Gemba walks to identify improvement opportunities.

Shutdown Coordination

• Coordinate facility maintenance, cleaning, and project activities during shutdown periods.
• Develop schedules and organize stakeholder meetings to ensure smooth execution.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Draft, update and improve procedures and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, EHS regulations, and company policies.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and propose preventive actions.
• Ensure appropriate use of PPE and safe working practices for employees and contractors.

What You Bring

• Experience in facilities coordination, maintenance planning, or technical site management
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Experience coordinating contractors and external service providers
• Ability to work effectively in a regulated environment (GMP ans clean romm experience is expected)
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP management systems is mandory
• You are flexible and like variety.
• You are resilient to stress.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive mindset with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
• You have a professional knowledge of English, Dutch and French.
• You have a bachelor's/Master degree or similar through experience.
• First experience in a clean room environment is a must.

You preferably have 5-8 years of work experience in a coordinating role in a technical and clean room environment.
