Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
HumanInTech seeks an expert change coach to support leadership teams in a large public sector or equivalent organisation. The role focuses on governance, culture change, and accountability, working closely with the director general and the management committee.
12-month assignment, part-time (2/5), hybrid in Namur, Belgium. Freelance or employee of HumanInTech with French-language delivery. Close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-unit stakeholders.
You will coach the management committee of a large public digital transformation department through a structured change process. The committee steers cross-cutting challenges with large teams and high expectations from political authorities and operational directorates.
Your mission is to help the committee function better as a collective: individual and shared accountability, joint decision-making, cooperation between units, and a focus on solving problems rather than dwelling on causes. A transformation plan has been presented to the minister, including reorganisation, cultural change, greater accountability and clarification of roles and missions.
The assignment covers at least the following stages, which you will propose and refine:
You will work closely with the director general, who sponsors the mission and participates fully alongside her committee.
You are an expert change coach with deep experience in supporting leadership teams, preferably in the public sector or comparable large organisations.
You will submit a team approach note (maximum 4 pages) presenting your philosophy for this type of support, the role of the director general and how you work with the committee as a collective, your proposed step-by-step process and how it adjusts during the mission, the tools or exercises you might use, how you guarantee confidentiality and a climate of trust, and how you assess progress with the committee.
You will provide two or three references for comparable support of management committees, preferably in the public sector or organisations of comparable size.
This assignment runs for 12 months from 25 November 2026. It is part-time at 2/5 (two days per week).
The work is hybrid, based in Namur, with on-site presence required at least 60% of the time, possibly more when needed.
The working language is French.
You can join us for this assignment as a freelancer or as an employee of HumanInTech. Same role, same team. If you join as an employee, your employment continues beyond this assignment. When it ends, we’ll work together to find your next assignment.
