Job summary

Smappee is seeking a Technical Service Desk Specialist to strengthen our Customer Support team. You will provide 2nd line technical support to B2B installers and partners, troubleshooting issues, and guiding customers through complex configurations.

You will collaborate with R&D, Sales, and other departments to drive product improvements and ensure high-quality support. Ideal candidates have a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, experience in technical support, and strong

Qualifications

Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent through experience.
Experience in a technical support role is a plus.
Affinity with electronic installations or IT/networks.
Ability to manage tickets under time pressure and priorities.

Responsibilities

Provide 2nd line support to installers and partners via ticketing, phone, and email.
Troubleshoot and debug during installation or configuration of products.
Answer technical questions and guide partners in resolving customer issues.
Learn hardware and software products to advise customers confidently.
Interpret protocols (Modbus, MQTT, OCPP) to identify root causes.
Manage and follow up on RMAs with relevant teams.
Train colleagues to improve technical knowledge and service quality.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to address recurring issues.
Collaborate with R&D and Sales for product improvements and docs.
