Smappee is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to strengthen our R&D team. You'll work closely with electronics engineers and software developers to build firmware powering our energy management and EV charging solutions.

You will design and implement robust embedded software, develop low-level code, create HAL modules, and drive testing, diagnostics, and documentation to ensure reliable, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Sciences required.
• Several years of hands-on experience in C and modern C++ for embedded/ Automotive/EV contexts.
• Strong knowledge of Git, Jira and agile development practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and Jenkins is preferred.
• Experience in firmware development for embedded 32-bit microcontrollers is a plus.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement robust embedded software solutions for EV chargers and Energy Management systems.
• Develop low-level firmware tailored to hardware interfaces and power systems.
• Create and maintain HAL and runtime environment modules for reliable operation.
• Write and execute unit tests and functional tests to validate software behavior.
• Configure, integrate, and verify software modules with system diagnostics protocols.
• Produce clean, well-documented code and collaborate with QA teams.
• Stay updated with industry trends to enhance future product offerings.
