Smappee is seeking a Technical Support Specialist – EV Charging & Diagnostics to join our team. You will provide technical support to certified installers and partners, focusing on technically complex EV charging cases and DC charging solutions.

Demonstrating strong analytical skills, you will analyse data from dashboards and logs to diagnose issues and guide customers through resolution. Occasional on-site visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, electromechanics, electronics, automotive technology or related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical concepts and ability to work with technical measurements, data and system diagnostics.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with a curiosity to investigate and understand technical issues.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support to installers and partners via phone, email and ticketing.
• Develop expertise in DC charging solutions and act as a specialist for DC-related troubleshooting.
• Investigate charging performance by analyzing data from multiple sources and dashboards.
• Diagnose complex issues by evaluating logs, measurements, configurations, communication and vehicle interactions.
• Guide installers through troubleshooting processes and communicate findings clearly.
• Resolve technical cases independently where possible and document analyses.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales Engineers and R&D to identify recurring issues and improve diagnostics.
• Go onsite when necessary to resolve a technical issue.
