Job summary

Merittas is seeking an Equity Partner to lead its Transaction Services platform in Belgium. The role involves originating and leading major client opportunities, developing senior client relationships, and mentoring teams within an internationally connected practice.

The successful candidate will drive growth across cross-border transactions, expand existing accounts, and contribute to the continued expansion of the Belgian business, with strong exposure to private equity and corporate clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Due Diligence and managing complex transactions.
• Proven ability to develop and mentor teams.
• Strong client development and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Originate and lead major client opportunities.
• Develop relationships with senior corporate and investor clients.
• Develop and mentor teams; expand existing client relationships.
• Build new revenue streams and collaborate with Partners across Belgium and internationally.
• Support cross-border transaction teams and the broader Transaction Services offering.
