Job summary

Eurocities is seeking a Forum officer to coordinate the Environment Forum’s work with members and to organise the annual meeting in Guimaraes, Portugal (3-7 November). The role requires coordinating with the Forum Steering Committee and ensuring collaboration with the Environment team on policy and project activities.

You will contribute to climate/environment priorities, maintain relations with EU institutions, and support bi-weekly newsletter and member communications.

Qualifications

• At least two years of work experience coordinating a group of stakeholders, partners, or members.
• Relevant work experience in policy advocacy at EU level and/or EU project implementation.
• Experience organizing events, meetings, workshops, or capacity-building activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Environment Forum annual meeting and related activities (content/form, dates, venue).
• Collaborate with Forum Chair/Vice-Chair to implement the work programme and coordinate with the Environment Forum team.
• Support organization of working group meetings (agenda, presentations, follow-up).
• Facilitate member engagement and communicate with members using internal channels.
