CES is an engineering consultancy with multiple offices, now seeking a Specialist Engineer for our Asse and Tielt-Winge branches. You will lead design-to-execution of installations, ensuring quality, timing and budget compliance, while collaborating with project teams and clients.

You’ll apply a solid technical background, stay organised, and drive sustainable, innovative solutions. English required; Dutch/French a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own projects from design to execution within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Design and dimension HVAC, electrical and plumbing installations with the project team.
• Prepare cost estimates for facilities under consideration.
• Coordinate integration of various specialist systems for optimal results.
• Participate in meetings with architects, clients and managers.
• Supervise projects on site during construction.
• Represent CES professionally to clients and partners.
• Build strong client/architect/contractor relationships.
• Contribute to internal growth and knowledge sharing.

CES is a family-driven engineering office with over 70 specialists, spread across 4 offices. To strengthen our team, we’re looking for a specialist engineer for our branches in Asse and Tielt-Winge.

You combine a solid technical background with a hands‑on mindset and a strong drive to deliver smart, sustainable solutions.

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics, Engineering (installation technology or construction), or have built up equivalent expertise through experience.
• You’re interested in innovation, rational energy use and sustainable construction.
• You are driven by the quest for innovative, sustainable and perfectly tailored technical solutions.
• You work in a structured way, listen well and take responsibility.
• You can work independently, but feel just as comfortable in a team.
• You’re eager to learn and keep up with new developments in your field.
• You communicate easily and understand the commercial side of projects.
• You’re familiar with the different phases of a project and how they connect.
• You manage your time well and respect deadlines.
• You work smoothly with MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of English is a must. Knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.

Your responsibilities

Following a thorough onboarding, you take ownership of projects from design to execution, ensuring they run smoothly in terms of quality, timing and budget.

• You study and execute projects within the agreed timelines and budgets.
• You design and dimension technical installations (HVAC, electrical and plumbing) in close collaboration with the project manager, the design project leader and other engineers.
• You prepare cost estimates for the facilities under consideration.
• You coordinate the integration of various specialist systems to ensure an optimal result.
• You take part in meetings with architects, clients and project managers.
• You supervise projects on site during the construction phase.
• You represent CES in a professional way towards clients and partners.
• You build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects and contractors.
• You contribute to the internal growth and knowledge sharing within CES.
• You keep your technical knowledge up to date through relevant training
